This initiative was established to support the eLABS platform by ensuring the swift and efficient transportation of laboratory samples. The introduction of this dedicated courier network, utilizing motorbike riders, led to a dramatic increase in HIV viral load (VL) testing coverage, which rose from 10% in 2016 to 91% by 2020. Furthermore, the system significantly reduced costs, lowering the average transport expense per VL test from ZMW 4.37 (USD $0.69) to ZMW 2.11 (USD $0.28) a 52% reduction compared to pre-intervention costs.
